Since the age of 12 I had the desire to play the piano but my grandparents did not have the finances to pay for lessons. As I got older, I began to watch musicians play online and at

church events.

I searched and searched to find the techniques of playing gospel music by ear. I knew from an early age that God had given me this gift, but I didn’t know how to bring together what I was observing from others and what I was learning on my own. 

For years I worked on this gift and many times I became discouraged. I even stopped playing piano completely for a while. Due to my mental disabilities, certain individuals that I reached out to for help turned me away because they didn’t have the patience to teach someone  with my mental  disabilities. 

One day, about twenty years ago, my prayers were answered: a young man offered to help me develop my skills.  Every since that day, I never turned away from playing the piano.

I later created  a set of beginner  piano music books to give others the chance I didn’t have. I desired to help make learning how to play the piano as easy as possible and allow people to become the musicians they want to be.
